Commercial Manager at InMind
We are building the future of adaptive robotics. Want to lead the commercial journey?

At InMind, we develop a world-leading robot brain that gives robots powerful learning capabilities and optimized performance. With this technology, robots can learn from their surroundings and adapt on the spot - without the need for manual programming.
We are now looking for a Commercial Manager to join our management team and help transform our technological vision into market impact.
Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Trondheim, InMind is a deep-tech company with a strong R&D foundation and global ambitions. Our first prototype robot, DXT, is already starting to demonstrate how on-the-spot learning works, using AI, signal processing, and FPGA-based systems.
We are a world-class and highly skilled team working across robotics, machine learning, and hardware development. Our working style is practical and collaborative, with short decision paths and tight cooperation across disciplines.
As Commercial Manager you will work closely with our CEO, Operations Manager, Finacial Manager and key technical leads – becoming part of a hands-on leadership group that combines strategic direction with operational drive.
Your impact as Commercial Manager
Your mission is to build the commercial engine of InMind: identify strategic partners, structure OEM agreements, lead go-to-market strategy and help bring our first product to market in 2026. This is a high-impact role at the core of our transition from advanced R&D to global scale-up.
Your qualifications, background and experience
The most important thing you bring to InMind is hands-on experience with building commercial partnerships, closing strategic agreements, and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes—ideally in an international, technology-driven context.
And maybe some of the following sounds familiar to you:
- You've negotiated commercial or OEM agreements involving advanced tech or software
- You’ve worked in, or closely with high-growth companies, deep-tech environments, or sectors such as robotics and industrial automation
- You understand how to position emerging technologies in industrial or B2B markets
- You’ve worked hands-on with go-to-market planning, structuring partnerships, and identifying potential customers.
- You’re comfortable engaging with founders, engineers, and investors and able to navigate their different perspectives and priorities.
- You can build structure where there is little, and move fast without losing sight of the long game
You must be able to communicate with clarity and professionalism in English—both written and spoken—at a level that enables you to represent InMind in high-stakes international dialogues with customers, partners, and investors. Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is a clear advantage, but not a formal requirement. Proficiency in other languages is always a plus.
You probably have a solid track record from commercially oriented roles, and higher education in business, engineering, technology management, or similar.
Who are you as a person?
You’re comfortable taking responsibility and used to standing in front when decisions need to be made. You work independently, but value collaboration when it matters. You know how to build trust, drive progress, and stay focused even when not everything is in place.
You’re curious about technology, without needing to build it yourself. You’re structured, without being rigid. And you care more about real substance than big words.
If you are comfortable in an agile environment and find energy in the unpredictability of a workplace where no two days are the same, you may be exactly the kind of person we’re looking for.
Why join InMind?
This is a chance to take real responsibility in a company that’s still in the early stages, where a lot remains to be built, and your contribution will matter. You’ll work closely with a skilled and focused team, and help shape how InMind moves from development to market.
We offer competitive terms, flexible working conditions, and a culture where responsibility is shared, and ideas are valued. Our offices are centrally located in Trondheim, with modern facilities and good amenities. Most importantly: you’ll be part of a small, ambitious environment where the path forward is not yet paved.
Sometimes in life, you just have to take a chance – perhaps this is yours?
Please send us your application today! We review and interview candidates on an ongoing basis, even before the formal application deadline. Don’t hesitate to reach out to our recruitment partners Trude Støren (+47 928 92 461) or Haavard Klemetsen (+47 467 49 848) if you have any questions.
