We are seeking a Group COO to help shape a forward-thinking organization that aligns with our vision: "To be recognized as world class, enabling people to explore more."
The goal is to effectively adapt to market changes, ensure comprehensive planning, dynamically allocate production capacity across the company, evaluate strategic partnerships, and increase focus on technology to guarantee scalability and long-term competitiveness. The role reports to the Group CEO.

- Develop, implement and execute a forward-thinking, market-driven, scalable, and dynamic operations organization that supports NORBIT's growth objectives.
- Contribute to achieving the vision of being recognized as world-class.
- Ensure collaboration and strong communication between different departments, such as R&D, production and market.
- Identify and implement modern technological solutions to improve efficiency and quality, emphasizing both external and internal focus.
- Drive digital transformation to enhance insights and decision-making.
- Lead and inspire a cross-functional team.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, such as in technology or industrial environments, management consulting, or similar.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.

Per Jørgen Weisethaunet, Group CEO
Per Jørgen Weisethaunet has been with NORBIT since 1995 and took on the role of Group CEO in 2001. Per Jørgen has also held various leadership positions on executive boards. He holds a master's degree in RF & Microwave electronics from NTNU and a bachelor’s degree in business economics and supply chain management.

Per Kristian Reppe, Group CFO
Per Kristian Reppe has been Group CFO since 2020. Before joining NORBIT, Per Kristian worked in various roles within the Aker Group. He also has experience as a management consultant at Arkwright and as an equity analyst at Pareto Securities. Per Kristian holds an MSc in financial economics from the NHH.

Julie Dahl Benum, Director of Strategy and ESG
Julie Dahl Benum joined NORBIT in 2022 as Director of Strategy and ESG. Julie has previously held positions in management consultancy firms such as BCG and Impello. She holds a MSc degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU.

Arild Søraunet, Group CTO
Arild Søraunet has been with NORBIT since 2002 and took on the role of Group CTO in 2018. Prior to that, Arild led both the R&D Services segment and Oceans segment. Arild holds a master’s in applied physics from the University of Tromsø and a bachelor’s in electronics from Levanger College of Engineering.

Peter Koldgaard Eriksen, Business Unit Director - NORBIT Oceans
Peter Koldgaard Eriksen has been the Business Unit Director of Oceans since 2016. Peter also has experience of working for international companies such as RESON Inc. and Goleto California. He holds a master’s degree in active vibration control from Aalborg University Center. Peter is located in California.

Asbjørn Dahl, Commercial Director in Connectivity/PIR
Asbjørn joined NORBIT in 2010, and took the role as Commercial Director in Connectivity/PIR in 2023. Prior to that, Asbjørn held various positions in NORBIT including COO for ITS in the period 2017-2023. He holds a MSc in electronics from NTNU, BSc in space technology and a business economics degree from Narvik University College.
